Introducing the Touchstone Energy Home Program for New Home Construction

To offer customers energy-efficiency guidelines in newly constructed homes, Palmetto Electric Cooperative is pleased to offer the Touchstone Energy Home program to its member-owners. The program is designed to advise consumers who are building a new home on ways to reduce their home energy costs and to increase their level of home comfort and performance. The Touchstone Energy Home program will include a combination of energy-efficient requirements and recommendations for your home on properly sealed ductwork, properly sized heating, air conditioning and water heating systems, and on proper insulation for ceilings, walls and floors.
