Outage Center - Reporting A Power Outage
Use our online outage map to view or report an outage or call
at 1-866-445-5551.
Please be prepared to provide one of the following to assist us in our efforts to promptly restore electricity:
- A valid 10-digit phone number for the service location.
- A valid account number.
- A valid meter number.
Before you call
- If you see a line down call 911 or 1-800-922-5551 immediately. Do not approach any downed lines, even if you think they may be cable or telephone lines. Always treat a downed line as live and dangerous.
- Check your circuit breakers, including those on the meter pole, to see if they've tripped. If they have, the problem may be within your
own wiring and you will need to correct the problem in your system.
- Check the outside disconnect below the meter (not all buildings have an outside disconnect).
- Check with a neighbor to see if they are out of power, too. That will help us to determine the extent of the problem.
After you call, unplug sensitive electronic equipment such as computers, satellite receivers and TVs until normal power is restored.

- Can I use the map to verify whether I am part of an existing outage?
Yes, make sure the Check Outage radio button is selected and type your account number, 10 digit service location phone number, or meter number and you will be able to verify if you are part of an active outage.
- How do I report an outage?
Make sure the Report Outage radio button is selected and type your account number, 10 digit service location phone number, or meter number. Your submission goes directly to our trouble processing center for response. The system locates your phone number, account number, or meter number and matches it to your service and your location becomes part of an active outage.
- How soon will my power be restored?
The outage map updates every minute and the numbers will fluctuate as work is performed. Outages can result from various circumstances and some take longer to identify and restore than others; therefore, restoration information is not immediately available.
