Linny the Lineman

In 1991 Palmetto Electric Cooperative adopted “Linny the Lineman” as the company’s safety mascot. Linny’s caricature, a sea turtle, represents responsiveness, distinctiveness and commitment. These characteristics coincide with Touchstone Energy^. connection to local co-ops and their communities.

Throughout each year Linny attends various local school presentations, community festivals and parades, as well as attending Palmetto Electric’s Safety Days, relaying his message to “Play it Safe” around electricity.
