9/5/19 (10:15 a.m.) Hurricane Dorian Outage Update: Power has been restored to the large outage on Hilton Head Island. Currently, we have 289 outages. 272 outages are scattered throughout Beaufort County and 17 are located in Jasper County. Crews will continue to work until all are restored. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
9/5/19 (7:00 a.m.) Hurricane Dorian Outage Update: We currently have approximately 6,000 members without power. 5,700 of these are associated with one substation on Hilton Head Island and are due to a transmission issue. As soon as weather conditions are safe, our crews are ready and waiting to begin working. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we wait for weather conditions to improve.
Our offices will be closed beginning Wednesday, September 4 until restoration efforts are complete. Our employees and crews are prepared to handle any weather-related outages that may occur in the days ahead. We will keep members informed with updates on area outages and restoration efforts through our website and Facebook page.
