After the Storm Updates

As damaging as Hurricane Matthew was to the Lowcountry, Palmetto Electric employees – along with those from 8 sister cooperatives from 3 states who assisted our members in their time of need – worked diligently to restore power throughout the service area to 61,831 members over the course of 7 days. With the patience of members, an amazing display of community support, and the collaboration of partner organizations, Palmetto Electric not only weathered this storm, but it helped the Lowcountry become better prepared for the next one by turning challenges into opportunities.
