From the time you receive this, you have three business days to change your mind about purchasing Green Power from Palmetto Electric Cooperative. You may cancel your agreement to purchase Green Power from Palmetto Electric Cooperative by calling customer service or writing to the billing address. How will I be billed?
Your Green Power charge will be listed on your monthly electric bill as an additional line item.
How will my electricity bill be calculated?
Usage rate: Your residential rate plus $3 for each 100kWh block of Green Power. Taxes and Fees: You must also pay all applicable federal, state, and local taxes as well as any applicable fees.
How much will my total electricity service cost, including utility charges?
$3 per month for each 100kWh block of Green Power purchased will be added to your monthly bill. For an estimate of your average monthly bill contact one of our offices.

Will my electricity rates change over time?
Rates are set by Palmetto Electric Cooperative’s Board of Directors and are subject to change in the future.
What sources will be used in my certified product?
Santee Cooper Green power is generated from landfill methane gas, solar and wind. Please refer to the Santee Cooper’s Green Power Product Content Label.
If I want to terminate this contract, what is the early termination fee?
There is no termination fee.
What length of agreement/contract is required?
A customer may discontinue participation at any time. It is voluntary. There is no contract length.
What other fees might I be charged?
A late charge may be assessed on any outstanding monthly balance..
