New Service Applications

To establish electric service with Palmetto Electric Cooperative, the consumer must apply for membership. In addition to the fees shown below, a deposit may also be required for service to be connected. When your account is created, you will receive an email with the total amount due on your new account, including the deposit amount and the membership fee, if applicable. The deposit is due before electric service will be activated. To obtain service for a new structure, proper county permits and inspections are required before power is connected. The procedure for obtaining temporary service, such as power for building a house, is the same as applying for new service.  A valid county permit is also required.
